Next BWE comming up and....
...I can't figure out a good surname/last name for my character, I used to play as Taranis Callaghan/Daigo Callaghan, figured out a better (in my view) name now tho but I personally don't think Callaghan fits to this name. Just to tell you guys in advance, I don't want names with "The" in it like "X The Great" or "The X " and since I DO want a surname for my character I'd be glad if there weren't any posts telling me that surnames sux/are useless

Just curious, but what exactly possessed you to pick Vermont as part of your name? Seems a bit outlandish to me, but whatever floats your boat...
How about: Vermont d'Leon (not sure if you can have the ' in there, otherwise go Vermont de Leon) Vermont Montagnard or Montagnarde (derived from French) Vermont Mondago Something like that? |

Me either. Here's what I did to find one. Go to the library, and look at books. You can take one from a main character in a book, or from the author. An author I saw's name was Jude Deveraux... I likey her last name... So it will most likely be the one I use when I play.

I jot my surname from one of my favorite books. Shadodale in the TSR D&D series. Ranger Florin Falconhand. I droped the Florin and added Ren.

If you are using the Tara (NIS) ending you will be looking at names from the Balkans...or Greek/Latin/ Roman Origin.
.. or look at some of the Dragonlance names from the Dragon Lance Series. A famous charachter there was called Tannis Halfelven. How about Maximus (from the Gladiator Movie) or Gladius ( a type of sword in the Roman Army). If you are using Da (IGO) ending usually you will be looking at a more South western , Hispanic/ Italian Origin. A newer type name. Hmm lost on that one. |
